The Experience
Your day starts when you arrive at the main gates and head into the park. It is worth grabbing a map or downloading the app early on because the site is massive and you will want to plan a rough route to get across the different themed areas.
Once inside, you can head straight for the big rollercoasters. The park has ten main coasters scattered across the grounds, each offering a completely different style of ride, from vertical drops to flying positions. You will feel the speed build quickly as you launch into the track, and the g-forces keep you pinned to your seat through the tighter turns.
If you are visiting with younger kids, you can head over to CBeebies Land. This dedicated area lets the little ones check out rides themed around familiar TV shows and meet some of the live characters moving around the zone.
Because the tickets give you access for the whole day, you can move between the high-speed rides and the calmer family attractions at your own pace. There are plenty of places to stop for a bite to eat or a drink while you stretch your legs between the different ends of the park.

Important Information
Tickets for Alton Towers are required for anyone measuring over 90cm.
Adults and children over the height of 90cm require a full entrance ticket. There is no difference in price between a child's ticket to Alton Towers or an adult's ticket. Tickets are required in order to be booked in advance of your participation date.
Your Peak Alton Towers ticket allows entrance on most weekends and selected weekdays in July and October, plus for the whole month of August. It might be possible to book at other Super Peak times for a supplementary fee.

The Weather
In very poor weather conditions, it is possible that Alton Towers may have to halt operation some of the rides.

This Alton Towers gift voucher entitles 1 person to a 1 day ticket (peak). Other people looking to go will need their own voucher for us to book them in.
What to Wear
Please wear comfortable clothes to Alton Towers. There isn't a specific dress code for the theme park, so as long as you are comfortable and not likely to offend anyone with your attire, feel free to dress as you please. Consider that you might get wet during some of the water based rides and attractions.
Availability
