The Experience
Test your skills and experience the thrill of flight with this Helicopter Hover Challenge.
This unique experience is your chance to learn one of the most challenging aspects of helicopter fligh - hovering. After a detailed pre-flight briefing, you’ll take to the skies with an experienced instructor in a Robinson R22 helicopter, with the option to upgrade to the larger R44 for a roomier experience.
Your 20-minute flight time will take you over the surrounding countryside, offering stunning aerial views as you learn to master the controls. During the hover challenge, you’ll test your ability to keep the helicopter steady in mid-air, a skill that requires precision and focus. With the guidance of your instructor, you’ll discover what it feels like to control the aircraft and get a taste of what it’s like to be a pilot.
This experience includes a total of 50 minutes, with time for your pre-flight briefing, hands-on flying and post-flight debrief. One spectator is welcome to watch and share in the excitement of your achievement.

Vital Information
Must be 4 or over, under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult. 15 stone weight limit per person.
Flight will depend on visibility and weather conditions.
It may be possible to assist with disabled customers, please contact us to see how we can help.
The captain reserves the right to refuse to fly anyone considered not to be in the appropriate condition to fly.
Pre-bookings are required and subject to availability.
Due to health and safety reasons you are required to be able to get in and out of the helicopter unaided.
The Weather
Lessons may be rescheduled due to poor weather, air traffic restrictions, safety concerns or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Session Length
The whole experience lasts for approximately 50 minutes including greeting, pre flight instruction and briefing. This includes 20 minutes of flight time.

One spectator is welcome per customer.
