Get behind the wheel of a real racing car with the Single Seater Driving Experience in Wiltshire!
Feel the raw power of an open-wheeled Formula Ford 1600 as you accelerate down the straight and tackle corners with precision. This experience puts you in control of a race-ready vehicle, giving you the closest possible feel to driving a Formula 1 car.
Your session begins with a safety briefing and expert coaching from an ARDS-registered instructor, covering the racing line and essential track techniques. You'll then take the wheel of a Ford Fiesta Zetec S, completing sighting laps to build confidence and refine your driving skills. Once ready, you’ll switch to the Formula Ford 1600, experiencing the adrenaline rush of 6 high-speed laps on the circuit.
At the end of the session, you'll take part in a group debrief and certificate presentation, with a special award for the Driver of the Day.

Vital Information
You must hold a full manual driving license, which you may be required to produce on the day. The min height is 5'2" , the max is 6'4". The max weight for this experience is 17 stone. This experience is not suitable if you are pregnant. With regard to Damage Indemnity:
An indemnity registration form has to be completed prior to the experience.
The Weather
The Motor Racing Single Seater in Wiltshire experience may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the centre if in any doubt.
Session Length
The Motor Racing Single Seater in Wiltshire experience will last approximately 3-3½ hours.
Numbers
The briefing can be in small groups. During the demonstration laps only you and the instructor will be in the vehicle after wards you will take a seat in a single seater racing car.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome, the Tavern Clubhouse is open for refreshments and food.
What To Wear
Wear sensible leisure clothes and thin, flat-soled shoes as the pedals may be close together. A helmet will be provided, but if you have your own you are welcome to bring it along.
