The Award Winning Vintage Bus, Steam Train and Visit to Greensted Church in Essex for Two begins at Epping Station, where you both board a vintage bus for a steady journey to North Weald. From there, the experience continues on a traditional steam train along the Epping Ongar Railway. The route passes through quiet countryside and offers a pleasant way to take in the landscape together.

You will arrive in Ongar with time to explore the market town at your own pace. A short walk along the Essex Way leads you to Greensted Church, regarded as the oldest wooden church in the world. It provides an interesting stop for visitors who enjoy simple historic locations.

There is an opportunity to enjoy lunch or a cream tea during your visit.

After your time in Ongar and at the church, you return to North Weald for the final part of your steam train journey, then travel back to Epping on the vintage bus.

This experience gives two people a relaxed and well-planned day out with a focus on gentle sightseeing and local culture.
